YTS pumps are known worldwide for their high quality, energy efficiency and low noise performance. Since its founding in 1966, it has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of pneumatic diaphragm pumps.
Their pump models are constantly updated to meet the age requirements.
The latest model update took place in the years 2015 upto 2017, when increasing energy efficiency was the most important development aspect, naturally while maintaining the earlier values and durability of the pump.
As a result, the efficiency of the pumps has improved on average by 22% compared to previous models and their competitors' counterparts.
The rating plates of YTS pumps indicate the planned minimum operating time of the pump, which is 10 years !
The Japanese pump manufacturer YTS has launched their pumps until 2012 under the name Yamada and IwakiAir. Kazumasa Yamada was then replaced by Hirokazu Yamada as chairman of the company.
Based on their new decision, the pump also came on the market under the original name as YTS.
YTS Europe was established in the Netherlands in 2014. We supply original Japanese parts for Yamada and IwakiAir pumps.
Our genuine Japanese parts prices are friendly, not only in stock but also in individual pieces.
The costs of a complete renovation of a pump (liquid or air combined) will never exceed 50% of its costs!
Easy installation and operation: the pumps are compact, lightweight, and portable. They can be deployed in almost any (work) environment. You only need to connect air and fluid lines. It is not necessary to affix the pump before use. The pump can be started up and stopped using an air valve or a control valve. A valve can be mounted on the pump’s liquid drain. The pump will start when opened and stop when closed.
Compressed air powered and very safe: The diaphragm pumps are powered by compressed air; no electricity is required. Various pumps can be grounded and are safe to use with flammable liquids and/or in potentially explosive environments. Most models are available with ATEX certification.
Self-priming: The diaphragm pump is self-priming, which means it can draw from a lower liquid level (even with an empty suction pipe) without the use of special tools or special start-up procedures.
Runs dry: Because there are no narrow, rotating, or sliding parts, the pump can run dry for a long period without any adverse effects.
Pumps with sealed drain: The drain pipe can be completely sealed without the pump suffering any damage or wear. The pump will simply stop running.
No lubrication required: YTS diaphragm pumps do not require any form of lubrication. Therefore, you can work with dry and filtered air. The pumps are clean and easy to maintain. They do not generate any pollutants in the work environment or contamination in the liquids.
We as HETHON are representing YTS from the beginning of its resistance in the Netherlands.
Despite the fact that YTS pumps are 100% made in Japan, our delivery time is very short, because our customers are serviced from the YTS center in Doetinchem: the place where we are also located!
Most pumps and parts are on stock, so the average delivery time is 1-2 business days.
Air powered diaphragm pumps (AODD pumps) by YTS are used for safely pumping corrosive chemicals, slurries, slurries with abrasive particles, viscous liquids, oils, adhesives, inks, and flammable liquids.
YTS pumps are self-priming and can run dry. If the drain is closed, the pump stops, which has no harmful effects. They are easy to move and easy to operate with variable flow rates and variable pressures. Air powered diaphragm pumps are suitable for many industrial applications.
The company's ongoing success is based on its commitment of design innovation, and the application of stringent manufacturing quality standards. All pumps are designed in-house by a team of experienced and knowledgeable engineers and they are manufactured fully under ISO 9001 Ver. 2008.
Moreover the company is heavily involved with Kaizen quality improvement systems and periodically undergoes specialized training, inspections and accreditation.

Design is the most important process that determines the performance and quality of a product. Just as DNA determines the nature and characteristics of animals, the design determines the way in which each product works.
Because the design has a major influence on all aspects of a product, such as the failure of a part, the ease of assembly, incorrect use of the customer, etc. YTS wants to create a valuable product for its customer. For over 30 years, products have been designed and produced that are used in almost every application around the world.
The knowledge for improvement was obtained from assembly, sales, engineers, but also from feedback from customers themselves. In this way a fantastic product has been created with a very broad functionality, according to the best quality standards.
Founded in Japan in 1966 by the late Shotaro Yamada, YTS specializes in the manufacture and distribution of Air Powered Double Diaphragm Pumps (AODD Pumps) with all design manufacturing and assembly taking place within its 2 main Chiba Prefecture plants.
YTS produced its first AODD Pumps in 1978 and has since become one of the world's leading Diaphragm Pump manufacturers with many satisfied customers all around the world. Although known primarily as a pump design house, and acting solely as part of a well-known Japanese parent company, in 2012, YTS became fully independent and is now carrying out sales & distribution directly into the global pump market.
Also in 2012 the business was taken over by the 3rd generation President, Mr. Hirokazu Yamada and within the same year the company established a new wholly owned company, YTS Sales Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
In 2014 YTS entered into a new Joint venture agreement and established a new company in the Netherlands: YTS Pump Engineering BV, established in Doetinchem.
Also in 2014 YTS established two new representative sales offices in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and in Mumbai India.
The company's ongoing success is based on its commitment of design innovation, and the application of stringent manufacturing quality standards. All pumps are designed in-house by a team of experienced and knowledgeable engineers and they are manufactured fully under ISO 9001 Ver. 2008. Compared to other similar brand pumps, and always with the customer in mind, YTS Diaphragm Pumps not only offer high performance liquid transfer, but also incorporate many design features & benefits often not found in ether brand pumps. Moreover all YTS pumps can be fully and simply disassembled and can be completely repaired easily and without the need for special tools. They offer optimum leak free liquid transfer, a high level of operational on/off reliability and long operation life expectancy over a full lifetime of use.
AODD Pumps are used in all industries for the safe transfer of corrosive chemicals, liquid slurries, abrasive particle slurries, viscose liquids, fuel, oils, glues, inks and flammable liquids. They are able to run-dry, self-prime and dead-head without any damage. They are portable and easy to operate with variable flow rates and variable discharge pressures. AODD pumps are a low cost and excellent alternative for many industrial liquid transfer applications.
We are proud to be able to offer the YTS pump solution as the only representative in the Netherlands. Please contact us for questions or more information.
